Flt Lt Tawee Julasap diary entry: . . . 18 April 1942 8:53-9:47 flew an Ota to search for Aircraft 16 which Plt Off Nin Suksa-ard had flown in patrolling Lampang. It was discovered crashed on a mountain south of Ko Kha. The aircraft was totally destroyed and only a small piece of the pilot’s scalp was found.

[17 Apr 1942] In the morning, Lt Nin Suksa-ard took a Curtiss Hawk 75N, No. 10/81, to patrol the Lampang area. But the plane crashed into a mountain on the south side of Ko Kha, and the pilot was killed.
Time 0753-1057 hrs. Upon learning of Suksa-ard’s disappearance, Lt Pan Suwanarak took a Nakajima Ki‑27 fighter from Lampang to search for about three hours for the crash site.

No other sources have been found describing the accident.
